BCCI Initiates Tender Process for IPL 2024-28 Title Sponsorship Rights

The IPL Governing Council has announced the availability of bid documents for the Title Sponsor Rights for the IPL seasons 2024-2028, with a non-refundable fee of INR 5 Lakh required for access by January 8, 2024. Following the ODI World Cup, preparations for the IPL are underway, marked by the upcoming mini auction where 333 players, including 119 overseas players, will be up for bidding after initial shortlisting from 1166 players. The franchises are gearing up to build competitive T20 teams for the upcoming IPL season.

The IPL Governing Council is soliciting bids from reputable entities for the Title Sponsor Rights of the Indian Premier League for the seasons 2024-2028. Detailed terms and conditions, including eligibility requirements and the submission process, are outlined in the ‘Invitation to Tender’ (ITT) document. Access to the ITT document requires a non-refundable payment of INR 5,00,000 plus applicable Goods and Services Tax. The procurement procedure for ITT documents is specified in Annexure A, and the documents will be available for purchase until January 8, 2024.
