Amidst the rollercoaster ride of IPL 2024, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) sought solace and blessings at Mumbai’s iconic Shree Siddhivinayak Mandir. Just before their clash against Mumbai Indians at Wankhede Stadium on April 11, RCB players, including Mahipal Lamror, Karn Sharma, Vyshak Vijayakumar, and Suyash Prabhudesai, took a spiritual detour.

Fresh from their defeat against the Rajasthan Royals, the RCB squad paused their rigorous training regime to pay homage at the revered Siddhivinayak Mandir. Mahipal Lomror shared glimpses of this serene visit on his Instagram story, capturing moments of reverence to Lord Ganesha.

Despite their struggles on the field, RCB’s journey in IPL 2024 has been marked by resilience and determination. With only one win out of five matches, their path to victory has been arduous. The season commenced on a bitter note with a loss to the Chennai Super Kings. However, under the leadership of Faf du Plessis, they bounced back with a spectacular win against the Punjab Kings, led by a remarkable innings from Virat Kohli.

Kohli’s unbeaten century against the Rajasthan Royals showcased his unwavering spirit, scoring 113 runs off 72 deliveries. Yet, RCB’s bowlers faltered in containing Jos Buttler and Sanju Samson’s onslaught, resulting in a defeat despite a competitive total of 183/3.
