If the Pakistan cricket team needed any additional motivation to clinch the T20 World Cup trophy, their chairman has provided just that. Promising a reward of $100,000 (approximately INR 83 lakh) to each member of the squad in case of victory, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) aims to spur their players to triumph. Despite injuries plaguing the team, the PCB plans to unveil the squad by the ICC deadline on May 25.
PCB Chairman Boosts
Morale In a recent meeting at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium, PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi addressed the national camp attendees, including captain Babar Azam and his teammates. During the gathering, Naqvi presented special jerseys to Naseem Shah (for achieving 100 T20 wickets) and Mohammad Rizwan (for amassing 3000 T20I runs).
