What is Super 8 in T20 World Cup?

The Super 8 stage kicks off on June 19 and runs until June 25. The T20 World Cup final will take place on June 29, following the semi-finals on June 27. The Super 8 is split into two groups, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the semi-finals to compete for a spot in the final.

Here’s how the groups are formed:

  • Group 1: First place from Groups A and C, second place from Groups B and D.
  • Group 2: First place from Groups B and D, second place from Groups A and C.

Each team will play three matches in the Super 8 stage, facing every other team in its group.
