USA cricket team vice-captain and star batter Aaron Jones has issued a confident reminder to Team India not to underestimate them ahead of their T20 World Cup clash. In a pre-match press conference, Jones emphasized their approach, saying, “I think we’re going to treat it like a normal game. We know India is a good team, but we’ve beaten good teams before. We don’t want to play on names or teams or anything like that. We’ve beaten good teams in the past. So definitely going to go hard tomorrow against India.”

The USA team, buoyed by impressive victories over Canada and Pakistan, is riding high on confidence. Jones, who has been in phenomenal form, played a remarkable 94* innings off 40 balls against Canada and was instrumental in their triumph over Pakistan.

Ashwin Praises Jones’ Mindset
Veteran Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin couldn’t help but praise Aaron Jones for his positive mindset. After the press conference, Ashwin took to social media platform X to commend Jones’ attitude. “A sportsman’s hunger to compete and be the best brings out this attitude, and that is something we must admire,” Ashwin remarked, acknowledging Jones’ fearless approach and determination.

With both teams on a winning streak, the upcoming clash promises to be an exciting contest. However, only one team can continue their unbeaten run, and Jones’ confident words suggest the USA is ready to challenge the formidable Indian side.
