After these Bay Area clashes, the MLC action will roll on to Dallas and Miami.

Unlike Texas’ Grand Prairie Stadium, which needed a makeover to fit cricket, the Coliseum is match-ready with boundary lengths approved by ICC standards. The shortest? A cricket-perfect 56 meters!
This one-year agreement may lead to a long-term deal, depending on how well cricket adapts to this historic venue. MLC wants a permanent home in the Bay Area, with talks ongoing in Santa Clara and Sunnyvale.
🚚 Moving Cricket — Literally
MLC is going all-in by shipping two practice pitches all the way from New York to California—a move costing over $500,000. The total spend to host games at the Coliseum is expected to be a whopping $3 million.
But according to San Francisco Unicorns’ CEO David White, it’s a long-term investment in connecting with fans in one of America’s biggest tech hubs.

To stir up local excitement, the Unicorns are planning a massive Family Day event and will soon announce a partnership with a major brand for fan engagement. With more than 1500 fans attending last year’s event, expectations are high.
“We want to add local flavor to the MLC experience. That’s the Bay Area way,” said White.
