Pakistan’s preparations for the T20 World Cup 2024 have concluded. Following two T20I series against Ireland and England, the team is now set to travel to the United States to kick off their T20 World Cup campaign on June 6th.

Pakistan to Arrive in the US in Two Groups

According to a report from Geo Super TV, the Pakistan contingent will depart for Dallas in two groups. One group, consisting of 19 members including cricketers, coaching, and support staff, will be followed by a second group of 9 members.

Preparation for T20 WC Not Ideal

Pakistan is one of only two teams starting their T20 World Cup campaign without any warm-up matches. Instead, they opted for two T20I series against Ireland and England.

Babar Azam’s team secured a 2-1 victory in the three-match T20I series against Ireland, recovering from an initial loss to clinch the series.

The series against England proved more challenging. Two of the four matches were washed out by rain, and England comfortably won the remaining two. Despite these setbacks, Pakistan is set to begin their T20 World Cup campaign against the USA on June 6th.

T20 World Cup 2024 Schedule

  • Pakistan vs USA, Dallas: June 6
  • India vs Pakistan, New York: June 9
  • Pakistan vs Canada, New York: June 11
  • Pakistan vs Ireland, Lauderhill: June 16

Pakistan fans and cricket enthusiasts around the globe are eagerly awaiting the team’s performance in the T20 World Cup. Will Babar Azam and his squad rise to the occasion? Only time will tell.
