The BCCI has called for a meeting of IPL team owners on April 16 in Ahmedabad, with President Roger Binny, Secretary Jay Shah, and IPL Chairman Arun Singh Dhumal expected to attend. According to reports, the meeting will likely address various policy decisions affecting the IPL’s future, such as player retentions, auction procedures, and the salary cap.

All ten IPL franchise owners have received formal invitations, with the expectation that they will be accompanied by their CEOs and operational staff. However, the meeting itself is reserved exclusively for owners.

While IPL CEO Hemang Amin has sent out formal communication regarding the meeting, the official agenda has not been disclosed yet. It is anticipated that crucial matters, particularly regarding the upcoming mega-auction, will be discussed, but Amin has not provided specifics at this time.
