Kaviya Maran Heartwarming Speech to SRH Players

The Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) players were visibly shattered after being overpowered by the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the IPL 2024 Final. Having played incredibly fearless cricket throughout the season, the Orange Army earned a lot of admiration. However, in the biggest moment, they couldn’t replicate their earlier performances.

Courageous Kaviya Maran

Thumped by KKR, even their owner, Kaviya Maran, failed to hold back her tears in the stands. But if the SRH owner was hurting, the players felt it more. There was an 8-year-long wait to win another IPL trophy, and all they got was agony. Knowing the pain that her players were feeling, Kaviya held back her tears and delivered a heartwarming speech to the players.

“You all have made us so proud. I had to come here and tell you that you have redefined the way we play T20 cricket, and everyone is talking about us. The off-day had to happen today (IPL 2024 Final), but a great job all of you with the bat and the ball. Thank you so much,” she said.

“Even though we finished last place the previous year, I think all the fans came out in huge numbers because of the potential you guys had. Everyone’s talking about us. Even if KKR won, I’m sure everyone’s still talking about and will continue to talk about the style of cricket that we’ve played. Thanks guys, take care. Don’t look like this. We played in the finals. It wasn’t just any other game. All the other teams have been watching us tonight,” Kaviya Maran added.
